Her hair soft and grey,Pearl around her neck,
Eyes filled with peaceful lake,
While looking at a beloved jasmine flower,
Lake rippled with memory of lovely power.
That power was her life's treasure,
Looking at jasmine bud her heart filled with pleasure.
She said, Once upon a time,
I used to hear heart's chime.
Here at heart's bottom,
Still lies memory that I haven't forgotten.
Your heart was where I belonged,
I still remember your caring glance,
But it was our way of romance.
No regret that we never converse ,
That tranquil became our heart chime's only verse,
Now looking at your favorite jasmine tree's blossom,
I remembered our first meeting that was awesome,
After that we used to pretend it was coincidence,
That was our youth's impeccable innocence,
We both were twenty four,
I was healer and you were soldier
First meet,You were going to dormitory,
You looked at me and we both knew it wasn't ordinary
That day I was dressing your injuries caused by sword
We ended up glancing without a word
Until you recovered it was our routine
God surely knows what was brewing in between
But when that fateful day arrived,
Main healer declared your throat couldn't be revived,
I saw you in tears,I knew you wanted to scream a loud
I will be your voice till the end that I vowed,
Was I good for you my beloved..???
Still my brave heart went for war only to win,
Looking at coffin, your lifeless and my teary eyes were playing mournful violin.
I still adore your spirit my heart,
Looking at jasmine I feel that flower is your part.
She came to the backyard to revive fragrance of 'him' in jasmine,
Every time flowers call out to her "you were mine... only mine"
Looking at flower, she sat on her relaxing chair
She knew 'her' jasmine was rare
Her jasmine can converse with her unlike her soldier
Jasmine said to her "You are mine forever"
These were the only words that jasmine had always spoken
She kept those words locked in her heart as her love's token.
Touching jasmine to her wrinkled face she heard those words for sometime
Suddenly a sound came and whispered "Here I'm"
Surprisingly petals were covered with shining dew drops
By touching those eternal drops her heart chime stops.
With murmur of "Here I'm" she went to meet her beloved to say "Here I'm !!!!"
Nice Lines ..:) keep it up..
